I am using this space to share some lessons, transcriptions and lead sheets that I have created through the years.
My musical path began with classical guitar lessons at age 10 with Rui Cardoso. Over time, improvisation became an interest, particularly during the Professional Jazz Instrumentalist Course at Jazz ao Norte, where I studied guitar and improvisation with Sandro Norton and music theory and ear training with Nuno Campos. In 2013, a week at the Begues Jazz Camp in Barcelona—learning from Michael Kanan, Jimmy Wormworth, Putter Smith, and Jordi Rossy—deepened that interest in improvisation.
The study continued with private lessons with Carlos Mendes and participation in masterclasses with Romain Pilon, Jakob Bro, Chico Pinheiro, Perico Sambeat, Jason Palmer, and Guillermo Klein.
Since then, I’ve played in combos at Valentim de Carvalho and Escola de Jazz do Porto, and performed at Casa da Música, FNAC, and various local venues.
